Update, perhaps the last

Hey, everybody. After some thorough studying, examining, and pondering, I've come to the conclusion that DeviantART really isn't the place for me any longer. This decision has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that this site really doesn't help much with growth and development. :/ All of the people I've met on here are incredibly wonderful, but this website isn't going to help me get where I want to go.

This doesn't mean I'm leaving, necessarily; it just means I won't be posting anything. I will still come on to check up with the artists I watch that only have galleries on dA. I'll mostly be hanging at ConceptART, CGSociety, and whatever else. Check me out on those websites (usernames at the end of this journal). Also: if you happen to join those communities, let me know! I'd love it if my dA buddies came with me. X3

I understand that dA focuses more on the cliques and popularity of art, and not so much the growth and development. It really is a 'community' of friends who show each other their work. That's all fine and dandy with me, but I'd rather move on. If I want to make art my life, I better start now and stop wasting time!
